Hello all, new member here working on my old CW Racing 24' cruiser. She's pretty rough right now after being in storage in pieces for about 10 years, and missing a few minor pieces. What I'm wondering, and haven't been able to find a straight answer on, is how many different 24' cruiser frames did CW make? I have yet to be able to positively Identify this bike, the only thing I know is that when I would ride up to the local bike shop all of the old guys would drool. Thanks for any help guys, I appreciate it. I know this isn't going to help me get her back on the road any faster, but I'm looking forward to going for a ride again so believe me it wont be long. Hope it helps. It's a very small bike, I was walking home from school and found it next to the curb by the trash cans. Coach sunglasses serial number check. Asked the guy if he minded if I took it, he said sure take it.

It had a full set of CW racing decals on it, but the frame was in really bad shape rust wise. Lots of wet sanding and polishing made it look beautiful, but the decals had to go away. I'm positive that the decals gave no clue what model bike it is, they were just pretty much plain jane decals. At first we thought it was a 20' bike because of how small it is, imagine my surprise when I put 20' wheels on it lol 'Dad, is this bike a low rider? What the heck' There is also a serial number stamped into the frame on the right side on the plate that the rear wheel bolts to, the numbers are TFM 857.

I don't see many of the mini cruisers posted. They make some nice build ups. Are you going with the later stickers or the earlier plain ones like in the photo up top?

Remember to check just in case you don't know about it. I'm still not 100% sure about the decals.

I've found it pretty hard to find a set of ones I like. If I could find some yellow die cut vinyl decals like the ones on the pad on the top tube of bike I think it would look pretty nice against the dark blue of the frame. Originals that would look good on the frame would be nice, repops would be too, but I still have yet to find any on the bay or elsewhere. Little update, rest of my parts are coming in slowly.

I'm going to run an older redline fork, wheels are Sun Rhino Lite 24x1.75 w/ stainless spokes on crupi hubs wrapped with Tioga Comp III's, 180mm Redline Flight cranks w/ s&m 101 sealed pedals, Powerlite Jr bars, Odyssey Pitbull brakes (thanks joker;) ).
